Employee earns a 10-precent raise because she refuses to use ChatGPT, supervisor spends months negotiating with upper management for her: ‘I take pride in my work…’

It is only upwards for technology! Which we love. Sometimes it's hard to keep up though, but overall, we encourage the advancement of technology. That being said… Ai is kind of scary. We're not experts on the topic, so we won't dwell on it. Just know we are team Human Creativity! And hi, hello, I'm an actual person writing this with my goopy 'ole brain. Seriously! Send me all the pictures of stoplights and I'll find them every time! Or a word with a different weird font for each letter, I can definitely still read it! (Probably… Sometimes those words are crazy looking!) Anyways, we found a story of a likeminded employee who got rewarded for having this same mentality! So, of course, we had to share it.

  • She works for a place that does things like write up speeches for higher ups and they totally allowed using Ai. However, she does not want to do that. It all tends to have the same tone and everyone loses their character and voice and bleh, pass. So she made sure to always write using her own goopy brain! And guess what? She's good and her supervisor notice! Because of that, she got a 10% raise. Heck yeah!
